JPA Tutorial - JPA Query Distinct Join Condition Example

The following query uses distinct keyword to get the unique value with a join condition.

List l = em.createQuery(
    "SELECT DISTINCT e.department FROM Project p JOIN p.employees e WHERE p.name = 'proj'")
    .getResultList();

Example
