Thanks Ulf for the info. Is there any other API other than JAI for the image processing? Basically, I am looking for an API that has advanced imaging processing functionality. Any thoughts are helpful. By any chance, are there any open sources available as libraries that uses Swing and JAI (or any advanced imaging API) combination which can be reused?
