Addendum. The insert works just fine as long as i am running with 2.1.3. This problem surfaced in 2.1.4. Also, I get differrent errormessages from ASA 6 and ASA 9. ASA 6 says "Not enough values for host variables", while ASA 9 says "Host variables may not be used within a batch".
