Javascript DOM onmousedown Event via addEventListener() method

Introduction

In JavaScript, using the addEventListener() method:

object.addEventListener("mousedown",
       myScript);

This example uses the addEventListener() method to attach a "mousedown" and "mouseup" event to a p element.
