Javascript DOM onloadedmetadata Event via addEventListener() method

Introduction

In JavaScript, using the addEventListener() method: 

object.addEventListener("loadedmetadata",
       myScript);

This example uses the addEventListener() method to attach a "loadedmetadata" event to a video element.
