Begin a path, move to position 0, 0. Create a line to position 300, 150:
<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <body> <canvas id="myCanvas" width="300" height="180" style="border:1px solid #d3d3d3;"> Your browser does not support the HTML5 canvas tag.</canvas> <script> var c = document.getElementById("myCanvas"); var ctx = c.getContext("2d"); ctx.beginPath(); ctx.moveTo(0, 0); ctx.lineTo(300, 150); ctx.stroke(); </script> </body> </html>
The moveTo()
method moves the path to the specified point in the canvas without creating a line.
Use the stroke()
method to actually draw the path on the canvas.
context.moveTo(x, y);
