Remove manual hyphens : Hyphens « Style Formatting « Microsoft Office Word 2007 Tutorial

Click the Home tab

Then click Replace

Then click More if necessary

Then click Special

Then click 'Optional Hyphen' to remove manual hyphens

Then click 'Nonbreaking Hyphen' to remove nonbreaking hyphens

Leave the Replace with box empty

Then click Replace All.
