Choose Office button|PowerPoint Options|Save.
Choose Office button PowerPoint Options Save.
In the "Save presentations", 
       click "Save files in this format" and choose the file type.
drop-down menu and choose the file type you want.
In the "Default save location" box, type the full file path.
type the full file path of the folder you want PowerPoint to surf to automatically when you go to save a file.
When you finish, click OK.
